It’s designed to cater towards every horror nerd and creator on the planet.
A site executed by female directors, thechainsawmafia.com assists horror filmmakers and artists to find productions to be involved with and cast and crew for their next projects. Anyone interested in becoming involved in the genre can go to the Mafia, and ask for assistance.
Shannon Lark, the CEO of the company, is a horror film director, writer, producer, and actress. Lark writes for Pretty-Scary.net and her work has appeared in film festivals across the world. She plans to expand the Mafia to provide more for the genre, through resume services, film distribution, and a Chainsaw Mafia Scream Queen Camp.
The Mafia currently offers Artist sponsorship, free advice, the Slaughter Shop, and TCM Film Festivals.
