Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated Collaboration

Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated is a mass collaborative re-envisioning in which artists from around the world select scenes from the original 1968 zombie film Night of the Living Dead and recreate them through their own artistic aesthetics.

Mike Schneider is heading the non-profit project and looking for more artists to contribute their unique visions of NotLD. The project is open to all media and processes, both still and dynamic. Works will be assembled into a new video track thus giving the film new life through a process called “reanimation.”

Schneider tells us that as of now the project boasts a crew of upwards of a hundred artists, illustrators and animators…and with the project being released freely on the net and at manufacturing cost on DVD it’s all “For the Love of Horror!”

If you would like to participate in this amazing collaboration, visit http://www.neoflux-animator.com/notldr/notldr.html for details on how to contribute. Submissions will be accepted until September 12, 2008.
