Synopsis: The spirit of a cursed medieval knight is accidentally released in present day. The knight must acquire a vessel and complete a deadly quest, reclaiming his chivalric traits by killing victims who represent those traits – purity, courage, skill at arms, wisdom, charity. Marla Mazzocco, an innocent college student, learns that she alone holds the secret to the mysterious deaths in a family heirloom, the Amulet of Thorns.
“When working with a shoestring budget as we did, one must expect delays and hurdles throughout the process,” says Grisaffi. “Our cast and crew have been exceptionally patient, and the Houston filmmaking community has been incredibly supportive of our efforts with Dead of Knight.”
Dead of Knight is produced and directed by Joe Grisaffi, screenplay by Emilio Iasiello. The film stars Jerin Julia, Brandon Hearnsberger (from Kerry Beyer’s upcoming horror flick Spirit Camp), Christie Guidry Stryk, Dimitri Kouzas, Sara Gaston and Dan Braverman (who coincidentally will also be appearing as Big Al in the upcoming Dylan Dog/Dead of Night film.)
** These dates may be “Sneak Previews” as well as the music score may not be completed in time. The movie will still be screened for attendees.
