“Kiss of the Vampire” DVD Release Date Announced
MIAMI, FL — Now celebrating their 25th Anniversary, leading independent home entertainment studio MTI Home Video will next release the romance horror film Kiss of the Vampire on DVD January 6, 2009. In the film, a sleepy town turns into a place of evil unrest when a covenant of vampires starts to feed. One man tries desperately to uncover their secrets, but until he can they ravage the locals and out-smart the Police. Now, the only one with the power to stop them could just be one of their own.
The film stars Daniel Goddard (Dream Warrior, The Young and the Restless), Gary Daniels (Submerged, Fist of the North Star), Costas Mandylor (Saw III, Saw IV, Beowulf), Matthias Hues (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, I Come in Peace), Eric Etebari (American Heiress), Miranda Kwok (Mr. Fix It, Jane Doe), Nick Jameson (24, Beowulf) and Katherine Hawkes (The Rogue, Power Rangers Time Force: The End of Time).
Kiss of the Vampire was directed and produced by Joe Tornatore (Zebra Force, Grotesque) – former Columbia Studios contract actor with more than 200 film and television credits, having worked with John Wayne, Paul Newman and Robert Redford. The film was written and also produced by Katherine Hawkes, with Frank D. Russo also producing.
DVD features include: 16:9 widescreen format, 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, cast biographies, interactive menus, scene selection, trailers and optional Spanish subtitles.
