First Trailer for “The Melancholy Fantastic” Unveiled

We’ve been excited about A.D. Calvo’s goth-inspired mental illness film The Melancholy Fantastic ever since we heard and reported on it HERE!
The Melancholy Fantastic is a holiday story about a delusional young girl who speaks with her deceased mother through a life-size doll.
Official Synopsis: Against the objections of a life-size paper doll, a delusional young woman falls for a Goth in this unconventional holiday story. The Melancholy Fantastic weaves elements of classical existentialism into a disturbing psychological holiday thriller.
And now we have been given a glimpse of what looks like a beautifully haunting film by filmmaker Calvo himself! The trailer looks intriguing and the cast looks near perfect. I really can’t wait to check out this creepy looking film because, well, it looks “fantastic!” Tee hee!
