East Coast Premiere for “Caesar & Otto” at Long Island Film Fest

Feature film Caesar & Otto’s Summer Camp Massacre (review) will be making its East Coast premiere at this year’s Long Island Film Festival in Glencove, Friday October 9th at 7:15PM.

Caesar & Otto’s Summer Camp Massacre made its world premiere in August at Kentucky’s Fright Night Film Festival, where it received an honorable mention.  The film lampoons summer camp slasher movies, most notably 1983’s Sleepaway Camp, and even features Felissa Rose (the original Angela) in a role that lampoons her the characters she’s know best for.  The movie also features her rock star husband Deron Miller (singer of CKY), cult icons Brinke Stevens and Joe Estevez (Soultaker).

Directly following Summer Camp will be the world premiere of it’s 10 minute sequel, Caesar and Otto in the House of Dracula.  The film picks up directly after the cliffhanger ending of Summer Camp and stars Ed Dennehy, brother of Brian, as Steve Dracula, Dracula’s lesser-known younger brother.  Shot entirely against green screen, the short film is a black and white throwback to the Universal horror movies of yesterday.  Mr. Dennehy plans to be in attendance for the screenings.
