Wild Zero (2000) – Quickie Review

Wild Zero is a Japanese movie that mixes rock ‘n’ roll (Japanese punk band Guitar Wolf features prominently in the film), an alien invasion resulting in flesh-eating zombies, a crazy short-shorts wearing club manager, and the theme that love (and rock ‘n’ roll) conquers all. This movie was B-grade GREAT!! It was silly, comedic, featured a great punk soundtrack and had zombies! Guitar Wolf was great and really hammed it up…I think I may just have to buy this now.
Plus, the Japanese rock ‘n’ rollers don’t look half bad…and the drinking game in the special features is out of control!!
