The Hellraiser Project: Hellraiser III (1992) and Hellraiser IV (1996)
If you remember correctly, the good Dr. Royce Clemens is embarking on The Hellraiser Project, in which he will watch and review the entire Hellraiser series. We are partnering with Geeks of Doom to bring you all his pain, tears…and perhaps pleasure (though don’t bet on it!).
Geeks of Doom has now posted Royce’s reviews of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth and Hellraiser IV: Bloodline. Go check ‘em out if you wanna keep up with our Project or want some very entertaining reading!!
A little taste for all of you:
“There is a list I keep in my mind of the things I really wish I could have gone my whole life not seeing. If I had not seen a couple of these things, I might be a little more well-adjusted and less mean as catshit. They’re not all gruesome, mind you, but if there’s a God, he’d have called foul by now, a yellow flag, SOMETHING! Things like…
-That damned ‘Mission Accomplished’ banner.
-The details of Bill O’Reilly’s phone sex conversations.
-Any episode of Saturday Night Live past the ’01 season.
-Four words and a hyphenate: ‘Aaron Boone walk-off home run.’ “
From Royce’s Hellraiser III review on Geeks of Doom, along with:
“Hellraiser: Bloodline not only jumps the shark, but pole-vaults over SeaWorld from the parking lot to the adjacent field. We see this from the first scene where we open in… Space. During the course of the film, Pinhead actually gets a dog. Someone please tell me that in one of these next few movies he goes to The Hood and gets a rapping dwarf sidekick that knows Kung-Fu. OH PLEASE!”
